Dear friendly cyclists,

It has been 5 years now since my brain was firstly tortured by an uncontrolled thought of organizing a charity trip in order to raise funds for AIDS/HIV patients..

My patience was more than compensated, when, accidentally, due to my participation in some bicycle groups, I met through all of you, the real love, understanding, solidarity, respect and persistence for a better tomorrow in our lives…

Along with Elena Anthi and George Katrivanos, as companions on this trip, we decided to proceed into making this trip real, without any further hesitating!

After a couple of meetings at home, and with the priceless help of Stamatis Plytas and Tasos Louizos (Lamda), we managed to lay the foundations in order to achieve our goal… Search for donors, Security car, create poster, create blog and facebook group, press release, basic cities / milestones to the final destination (Thessaloniki), open a fund-raising bank account for gathering money, printing brochures providing information about AIDS/HIV, were some issues during our meetings…

I am therefore pleased to announce that this trip will take place on 2-3-4-5/9/2012 and will be a great pleasure for us if all cycling groups support us with your love and concern about this critical issue that involves all of us!

On Sunday, 2/9,  starting at Syntagma Square,  and after an event held to inform people, we will start our bike journey with the first stop to be performed at the city of Thebes (accompanied by cycling teams and groups until the Athens city exit). After that, Volos, Larissa, Platamonas and Thessaloniki will follow, where various teams will welcome us at key points of their city.

There will be constant and lively updated information about the progress of our journey. What we ask from you is your consent to all this so that we will be able to cycle with greater strength and encouragement that will be earned from you ..
